We've just been commissioned to do a simple - but important! - website design for a company that wants a strong and effective web presence on a limited budget. One of things that really makes this project a joy to work with is the fact that the company has a documented marketing strategy along with clear identification of its target audiences.
Not only it is far more expedient to come up with a design that will target those audiences but we know that the website will be effective from day one ... no making tweaks over the coming months to try and seek out the desired target.
If you are considering a new website or a website upgrade it is well worth spending a few days to document marketing strategy and target audience types.
