Some term it web 3.0 but whatever you call it Facebook's latest API update provides developers - and, through them, your business - with a great way to contribute to and to draw data from Facebook.
Applications using this technology are already out there and include the ability for your website visitor to "Like" your page by adding it to their profile or for you to write on a visitor's Facebook Wall. You can also draw down information such as a list of profiles for people attending a certain event or friends associated with the profile of the visitor.
