Twitter is an excellent way to broadcast your activities to those people that are genuinely interested in what you've got to say (your followers). It's also useful for listening but we'll talk about that in a later post.
If you haven't got a Twitter account then setting one up takes less than two minutes and you'll be surprised how quickly - with a suitably accurate profile description - you get picked up and befriended by people. Make regular, informative and focused tweets when you can.
