While a lot of time goes into telling website owners how to lever that extra pound from their website visitors the fact is often missed that it's difficult enough to get any money from people that come to your website!
There are a few ways to counter this and to make it work in your favour. Firstly, if you appreciate that web visitors will rarely buy the first time they visit your website the bounce rate that you're seeing may not seem so bad.
Furthermore, understand that your website visitors - as you do - will often buy from companies that they feel they have a relationship with. Generating that relationship for the long term may well be the key to ensuring long term sales through good conversion rates.
