There is a short video from Google that is definitely worth a few minutes of your time. While you might think it a little over the top it is a very good demonstration from Google on how we use search engines to help us make decisions.
Watching the video it is clear that the decisions in this example weren't necessarily about specific products and services but more general lifestyle decisions: The user was looking for help and assistance in their search.
As a business you've more than likely got a listing on Google and, whether it is a paid for listing or an organic listing, there is value in keeping in mind that your potential visitors are looking for their problems to be solved or their desired to be satisfied. We call this the "need or greed" concept of marketing.
Even if those initial wants or problems seem a bit nebulous it's really worth writing up a page or a blog entry about them in order to attract traffic. After all, if you let just one more person know that something they thought was impossible can happen then you've already increased your marketing chances.
